Evans Maintenance Services has been appointed by Flintshire County Council to provide commercial gas catering appliance servicing & maintenance

We are pleased to have been awarded the commercial catering contract to undertake the gas servicing for all Flintshire Councils gas-fired cooking appliances until 2021. The contract was tendered for and we were judged to have been the most suitable for this project based on value for money and technical ability which was reflected in the quality of our submission during the government tender process.

This will include all commercial properties within Flintshire Councils property portfolio:-

• Primary Schools
• High Schools
• Care Homes
• County Offices

We will be responsible for the servicing of their kitchen equipment, checking their gas supply and testing the environmental conditions within the operational kitchen to ensure compliance with public health air quality levels. This will be achieved using the latest test equipment and instruments.

The equipment within the kitchen varies from site to site so each service can be different. The most common appliances which we will be maintaining throughout this contract are listed below.

• Range Cookers
• Gas Fryers
• Steamers
• Combination Ovens
• Grills

This opportunity has allowed for further development of our engineers with specific manufacturers, building on an already extensive knowledge base. We already have the commercial heating and hot water boiler maintenance contract with Flintshire so this new contract will run in parallel which means our engineers are never too far away for any reactive works or breakdowns enabling a fast response time.
