Some good news for us this week with our first large contract win of 2020 having been awarded a new commercial gas servicing contract following our tender submission to the Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board. We were deemed to offer best value, technical ability and organisational skills along with our strong health & safety presentation and on going training for our engineers to ensure we can offer the hospital an unparalleled service as standard.

We will be tasked with servicing, safety inspecting and testing safe and efficient operation of large and small commercial gas boilers, hot water boilers, high pressure gas boosters and there auxiliary components necessary for such systems to operate in an efficient and reliable and most importantly a safe manner.

Locations

The estate is spread out over a large area of North East Wales and will encompass the following sites which we will have responsibility to service and also to provide reactive maintenance should things breakdown

  • Wrexham Maelor Hospital
  • Chirk Community Hospital
  • Deeside Community Hospital
  • Holywell Hospital
  • Penley Hospital
  • 33 Smaller Local Clinics

With over 110 commercial gas appliances in the Wrexham Maelor alone 34 in the community hospitals and a further 66 within the clinics this will keep our engineers busy for the next few weeks. We are already familiar with all the sites having secured this contract 12 times over the last 13 years so we are well versed with the specific requirements and needs for each site.

Tim Evans, Managing Director – Evans Maintenance said:-

‘We are really pleased to have been appointed for this contract which further demonstrates our commitment to safety, technical ability and best value, understanding whats important for our clients and for our clients to have confidence in the core services in which we provide. This marks a successful start to the year for us with sustained growth which is demonstrated by the clients in which we keep. We understand the importance of needing to react quickly and reliably for any of the health board sites due to the nature of the buildings and is of paramount importance that heating and hot water services to remain in operation regardless of the time of day.
