Gas Boosters
Gas Boosters are usually found on installation pipework to increase gas supply pressure to overcome resistance where higher pressures are required. They may also be on larger forced draught hi/low or fully modulating burner packages.
Gas Booster Maintenance
We often find these are overlooked although they form a critical component within any system. There are requirements to replace the bearing / fan blower units every 5 years on some makes of booster. Without this, they have been known to fail catastrophically resulting in a major gas escape. To work on gas boosters you require a specific qualification which our engineers hold
